The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:5 that, we do not proclaim ourselves, we proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord. He has provided us His light and glory. But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us. May each of us reflect God’s light and love as we serve together in His ministry. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. |

Summer Sunday School! The Education Team is looking for individuals to help out with Summer Sunday School. You can help every Sunday, every other Sunday, once a month ... You PICK how you want to help. Materials & Curriculum are provided for you; class sizes are small and manageable. Classes are broken into 3 age ranges for the summer. Pick the age range you'd like to teach. For info call the office.
Dig In & be Part of the GREEN TEAM! The Green team is doing a GREAT job tending to the flowerbeds around the church. Do you like the sunshine & fresh air? You can take a turn watering, pulling weeds or planting flowers. Give us a call.
Ahoy Maties! Get ready for the voyage of a lifetime! Vacation Bible School's "High Seas Expedition..... Exploring The Mighty Love Of God." Monday July 26th- Friday July 30th. Check Them Out! Librarian Billie Campbell has some new books in our church libarary. Take the elevator down and it’s the second door on your right. Borrow the books as long as you like—no charge.
Summer Camp! Time is running out for registrations for summer MO Camps. St. Paul's will again pay at least 1/2 the cost of summer camp for all kids wanting to go to United Methodist MO Camping & retreat Ministries. Contact church office for more info.
Good Job St. Paul's on APRIL"S PANTY P.I.C.K. Donations! There were many happy familes who benefited from your donations: 64 cans green beans; 10 cans variety beans, 48 cans corn, 24 cans peas, 11 cans mixed veges, 2 cans carrots, 6 cans sweet potatoes, 5 cans tomatoes & tomato sauce, 14 boxed dinners & pasta, 2 jars peanut butter, 4 boxes cereal & oats, 5 boxes brownies, pudding & graham crackers, 5 jars coffee & drink mixes, 4 laundry & dishwashing soap, 8 misc. food items. YEAH! RAH! TEAM!
May Pantry P.I.C.K.! West Central Community Action Agency's Food Pantry is very low on boxed dinners and side dishes. Please make your May donations to Pantry P.I.C.K. be boxed dinners, like Hamburger and Tuna Helper, and boxed potatoes, mac & cheese, rice etc.
The Diaper Closet! The Missions Team is starting a diaper bank which will provide free diapers for families who live in Raymore who also are clients at West Central MO. Community Action Agency. Personal care items, including diapers, are NOT covered by food stamps or any other government assistance. Currently there are 13 eligible familes in Raymore. We are asking for your help to fill our Diaper Closet. You may contribute by check (maked "diapers") or you may purchase diapers yourself. Also please save diaper coupons--look for the "diaper" in the Narthex! We will distribute diapers form the infant nursery across from the office the 2nd & 4th Mondays each month. If you would like to help call the church office.

Change is Good! especially when it is dropped in the Trinity Chest, located in back of the sanctuary on Sunday Mornings. The Financial Secretaries emptied the chest and counted $297.38! This money will be divided 3 ways and will go to Spofford Home, ReStart and Grand Avenue Temple. That brings the total since its inception to a whopping $2,991.02!

50% TUITION REDUCTION FOR CMU FIRST-TIME STUDENTS
First-time or transfer students are eligible for a 50% tuition reduction at Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO if they meet certain minimum requirements.
