Choir News:Make Music A Part Of Your Life! Join the CHOIR! Interested in singing & serving the Lord? St. Paul's Adult Choir is a great way to do both. Everyone is invited to join! We practice every Wednesday at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary. The choir sings for the 8am & 10:45 services most Sundays - sometimes one sometimes both. Special Music & Cantatas are presented during the Christmas & Easter seasons. A Patriotic Cantata is performed in July.You don't have to: Audition; Be a member of St. Paul's; read music; Sing solos(but you can always volunteer if you would like to)You will be asked to: Have fun! Be a part of special events! Sing with your whole heart! Share in great Fellowship!5 Reasons to Join The Choir:1. The collection plate isn't passed to you. 2. The choir's chairs are the most comfortable in the house. 3. You can sleep and the pastor won't see you. 4. No one will know you have jammies on under your Choir Robe. 5. You will always be able to sit with your friends, no matter how crowded the service is.St. Paul’s is fortunate to have as our music director, Stephen Rew . Stephen has been our head “music man” since January 2003; before that he was Director of Music and Worship Arts at Grandview UMC. He has his Master Degree in Music Education. In 2004 and 2005, Stephen was asked to serve as Worship Coordinator for the Annual Conference of the Missouri United Methodist Churches, a prestigious honor for both Stephen and St. Paul’s. Stephen is married to his high school sweetheart, Cindy. They live in Peculiar with their two children: Mason, age 4 and Chloe, age 1. During the week, Stephen is the music teacher at Eagle Glen Intermediate School. "There is no greater place to share in great fellowship than St. Paul's."Adult Choir:The choir, directed by Stephen Rew, is not just your choir, but also a family of believers who love the Lord and music. In addition to providing anthems nearly every week for worship, the choir presents cantatas for Lent & Christmas, plus a Patriotic Celebration in July.
