From the age of 6, music has been my life, and I always felt that God wanted me to serve Him with the talent that He had given me.

When I was 9, I started playing for our churches' children's Sunday School time, and by 10, I was accompanying the adult choir and playing for the church services.

Throughout my school years, I was involved with singing in the chorus, accompanying the junior and senior high school choirs, and played the flute in the marching band and the concert band.

At the age of 17, I began my private piano and vocal teaching under the guidance of my music teacher of 12 years. Later on, I also taught flute lessons. In 2008, I retired from my teaching career after almost 40 years.

Through my life I have been a church organist/pianist for several churches, choir director, traveled with a girls trio around the country and sang at many churches, played in several church bands, and have played and sang at over 460 weddings. In 1991, I married my husband Casey. I have 4 children by a previous marriage and 8 grandchildren.

 

My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11:

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. "
