Stephen Rew Background Info:

Stephen Rew is blessed to be married to his high school sweetheart Cindy and is the “more than proud” father to Mason Bradley who was born in November of 2007.  A lifelong United Methodist, Stephen has been active in church music his entire life, but began this pursuit as a profession in 1999 serving as Music and Worship Arts Director at Grandview United Methodist Church.  In January 2003, Stephen came back to his home church and joined the staff of St. Paul’s.  As a part of his duties at St. Paul’s, Stephen directs the Adult Choir, Youth Choir, Praise Band and media for the church and coordinates all facets of music within worship.  Previously working for 4 years as a music teacher, Stephen currently works as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri, Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance where he is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Education which he will complete in the summer of 2009.  He is an active member of MENC and ACDA and often is a guest presenter at workshops and conventions.  In 2004 and 2005 Stephen was honored to serve as Worship Coordinator for the Annual Conference of the Missouri United Methodist Churches.  “There are no better people than the people that I get to work with on a daily and weekly basis at St. Paul’s.”
